Q: What finishes are available?
A: NettoCollection Moderne and Loft are offered in one finish combination: stained ash and white lacquer. Since these lines share the same finishes, feel free to mix and match Moderne and Loft to make your favorite nursery set. NettoCollection Case Group is finished in one finish combination: natural oak and our signature white lacquer.
Q: Do NettoCollection cribs meet US safety standards?
A: Yes. Moderne, Loft, and Case Group cribs are certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association to meet Consumer Product Safety Commission safety standards (CPSC F-966) and ASTM industry safety standards (ASTM F-1169).
Q: Why don't the crib side rails drop?
A: NettoCollection cribs feature fixed side rails, and 3 position height-adjustable mattress platforms. Inspired by European designs, cribs with fixed rails benefit from a "less is more" approach; hardware is minimized and strength is increased.
Q: How do the changing tables convert to cabinets?
A: The Moderne and Case Group changing tables feature a changing "flip-top." When you no longer need the piece as a changing-table, flip the tray top to make a cabinet. Another advantage of the flip top is that it can be rotated to the left, to put changing essentials at the fingertips of left-handed users.
The Loft changing table tray-top features removable changing partitions. Simply pull out the partitions to make your changing table a cabinet.
Q: What do I need to know about home-assembly?
A: Cribs: All NettoCollection crib designs are shipped flat, with home-assembly required. We recommend two people and two hours to set up a NettoCollection crib properly. If you are good with directions and a screwdriver, you will find Moderne and Case Group Crib assembly to be easier than average. The Loft Crib assembly requires a few more steps. If you'd rather leave the assembly to someone else, we have assembly specialists in New York and Los Angeles.
Changing tables: The changing table cases are shipped assembled. The legs and door/drawer pulls are packed for shipping, and require a screwdriver and 40-60 minutes to assemble. It is recommended that two people complete the setup.
Dressers: Both dresser cases are shipped assembled. The legs and drawer pulls are packed for shipping, and require a screwdriver and 30-45 minutes to assemble.
Q: What are the care instructions for the furniture?
A: NettoCollection finishes are durable and require a minimum of maintenance. We recommend the use of a non-toxic surface cleaner and a cotton rag, when cleanup is required. Changing table and dresser wood veneers will benefit from periodic applications of furniture polish. However polish is not recommended on any crib surface accessible by an infant. A common sense note on crib-care: a minimum of two people is required to lift and move a crib. Attempting to drag a crib across a carpet or hard floor may cause structural damage.
Q: What is the size of the NettoCollection crib mattress?
A: NettoCollection cribs will accept any standard-sized crib mattress (W52" x D28" x H6"). We recommend the NettoCollection mattress, a luxurious innerspring model covered in wool and organic cotton.
Q: What is the size of the NettoCollection changing table pad?
A: At W32" x D18 3/4" x H4", our changing table pad is custom sized for the Moderne and Loft changing tables. Unlike crib mattresses, there is no established standard size for changing table pads.
Q: Where can I see/buy NettoCollection furniture?
A: Click on our "stores" menu for a listing of boutiques in the US.
Q: When will my NettoCollection furniture arrive?
A: All NettoCollection furniture is in stock and ready for immediate delivery. Most destinations in the continental US are reached in 10 days or less.
